Abia APC backs Neya Uzor-Kalu’s ambassadorial nomination by President Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state has lauded the recent appointment of Barrister Neya Uzor-Kalu as ambassador-designte by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement signed by the chairman of the Bende local government area chapter of the party, Hon Prince Ulu Onwuchekwa, and the secretary, Comrade Igwe Chibuisi Agu, the party leadership congratulated Barrister Neya Uzor-Kalu on her well-deserved nomination as one of the ambassadorial nominees by President Tinubu.

APC noted that Uzor-Kalu has contributed immensely in human capital development, in Bende local government area, Abia north and Abia state.

According to the party, “It is not in doubt, her humanitarian and selfless services to the constituents, even pupils and students in our schools in Abia north senatorial district have been benefiting from Barr Neya’s foundation every academic session as she distributes textbooks and other vital academic stationaries to equip our wards.

“Barr Neya has distinguished herself both in profession and Managing “The Sun Newspaper, one of the national dailies everyone enjoyed reading.

“Barr. Neya Uzor Kalu, is the daughter of His Excellency, Chief Dr Orji Uzor Kalu (MON) the former Governor of Abia State, from 1999-2007, The Senator Representing Abia North and Senate Committee Chairman on South East Development Commission.

“No wonder, Neya’s morals and upbringing has distinguished her from her peerage. We have no doubt, that God given wisdom and knowledge, life exposure, academic intelligence, her composition in private establishment will all be useful to Barr Neya, to represent excellently in this national assignment as senate confirms her appointment in the Red Chamber.

“We will continuously pray to Almighty God, to give her sound wisdom, knowledge, strength, the enablement, divine grace and favour, mercy of God upon her life,”It stated.

The APC, on behalf of the people of Bende LGA and Abia state expressed profound appreciation to President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for looking inward to fish out, Barr Neya, whose capacity is unquestionable to discharge effectively and efficiently.
