Abia 2027 Guber: Prophet Ukauwa urges Mascots-Uzor Kalu to bury ambition

Founder and General Overseer of the Information Rhema Power Synagogue International, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Prophet Godspower Ukauwa, has advised a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Mascots Uzor-Kalu and others nursing to unseat present administration in Abia state to jettison such inordinate gubernatorial ambitions and support Governor Alex Otti’s reelection in 2027.

Prophet Ukauwa made his feelings known while interacting with newsmen on Thursday in umuahia after assessment/inspection tours to projects embarked by the present government in Abia state.

The foremost cleric recalled pitiable situation of Abia state characterized by infrastructural decadence under past successive administrations, regretted that these administrations failed to demonstrate needed capacity and political will at solving myriads of challenges that bedeviled the state for past twenty-three years.
According to Prophet Ukauwa, Alex Otti’s emergence as the state governor in 2023 rekindled people’s hopes for actualization of an economically and infrastructural stable Abia, maintaining that the current Otti-led administration has redefined governance in the state, with the execution of completed and ongoing infrastructural projects in all the seventeen local government areas.
He noted that most of these completed infrastructural projects initiated by the present government has placed Abia state on path of economic prosperity.
While acknowledging citizen’s rights to vie for elective political seats of choice as guaranteed by the 1999 constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Prophet Godspower Ukauwa told Kalu to bury his ambition and support continuity of the state government towards consolidating its already -achieved developmental strides in all critical sectors of Abia economy.
He reminded Mascots Uzor-Kalu that the people of the state won’t afford to change a performing government for mediocrity in 2027, insisting that Governor Otti has justified the mandate entrusted him by the electorates and will be reelected for another term in office to consolidate his administration’s modest achievements in the state.
According to the general overseer, “It remains an undisputable facts that past successive administrations from 1999 inception of this current democracy till 2023, disappointed Abia people. These past governments could not boast of any remarkable achievements, because their administrations were characterized by corruption and poor execution of infrastructural projects in Abia state, and lack of policy directions.
“But this present Otti ‘s administration came into power and rewrote the ugly narratives associated with governance in Abia state. In Abia today, there is efficient civil service. There is an ongoing establishment of airport, there is relative peace in the state due of effective security architecture put in place by this current state government . Today, Abia is ranked as peaceful and safest state due to workable security architecture put in place by the present administration”.
Prophet Ukauwa maintained that Governor Otti need more supports from critical stakeholders to surmount daunting challenges impeding the efforts of Abia state to attain greatness.
He also used the medium to urge Abia populaces to be wary of the evil machinations of some politicians and resist any attempt to be deceived and hoodwinked into blackmailing the governor.
