Kingsley Maduforo: A New Legislative Ideology: Ben Kalu’s Example.

The Deputy Speaker of the 10th Federal House of Representatives in the National Assembly and the member representing the good people of Bende Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, is running a new legislative Ideology, a kind of revolution that is geared towards national development, economic participation of the country on global table, youths engagement and development, women participation in politics and empowerment.

The legislative prowess of the Deputy Speaker has changed the negative narratives and ill feelings of the citizens towards their representatives. Truly, his strategy is working for him. So far , all his bills and recommendations in the floor of the house are people oriented that will help fastrack development and ensure good governance.

Recently in his home state, Abia, it was an atmosphere filled with joy and celebration as women, youths, young and old rolled out their drums with a dance with the news that President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law three bills sponsored by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, establishing; Federal College of Education, Bende, Abia State, Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences, Item Bende, Abia State, and Federal University Okigwe, Imo State. This is a welcome development and speaks volume of his new legislative Ideology.
Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, also being the chairman on House Committee on Constitution Review, has on different platforms reiterated the committee’s commitment to legislations that will respond directly to the practical challenges faced by security agencies as well as the citizens, given the security challenges currently facing our nation. This is Ben Kalu’s Example and he is focused and committed in seeing it through.
Finally, Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu , has become a household name across Abia State and the entire South East region. Like the biblical John the Baptist, his preaching of the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his re-election in 2027, has raised dust and fears even in the camp of the ruling party in the Abia State. What a nightmare!
