Concerned Abia citizen, Chief Henry Ubi, has called on the representative of Abia central senatorial district in the national assembly, Senator Austin Akobundu include Ohuhu clan in his developmental agendas.

Chief Ubi made the call in a terse statement on Friday, following installation of solar-powered streetlights across local communities in Abia central senatorial district sponsored by the federal lawmaker.

He lauded the efforts by the federal lawmaker in providing basic social development projects and amenities, but decried the continued neglect of ohuhu clan by the present governments at all levels in the country.

Chief Ubi lamented that despite immense contributions of ohuhu clan to the socio-economic and political growths of Abia state and Nigeria, elected state and federal public office-holders has abandoned the clan in its economic and infrastructural revolution in the state.

According to the Chief executive officer of Ubi Global Farms Limited, “Many thanks to our progressive senator Akobundu for great things he is doing. So far, I have not seen or felt his effects in Ohuhu in Umuahia North LGA.

“Do Senator Akobundu know that his senatorial district includes Ohuhu? And that we also deserve his goodwill and service.

“Any political story or service that do not include Ohuhu remains news untill we are included,”He posited.
