2027:Abia NDC Aspirant, Nwosu frowns rumours on purported withdrawal from national assembly race

House of representatives aspirant for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo  federal constituency under the platform of Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Abia state, Hon Pastor Chibuzor Nwosu, has raised alarmed on the uncovered plot by critics to malign his integrity and truncate his current political bid with factitious clams.

In a statement on Friday, Hon Nwosu expressed utter dismay widespread rumours and misinformation being peedled in some social media handles by one Mr Henry Nnaji Nnamdi, purporting his withdrawal from 2027 national assembly race.

Hon Nwosu described the rumours as a joke taken too far, aimed at misleading NDC members, teeming supporters and general public.

His statement read in full: “I have observed with utter dismay, the ongoing rumour, being peddled by one MR HENRY NNAJI NNAMDI.

“I am therefore compelled to respond to the post made by him on NDC, our great party`s platform,entangled my humble self, Hon Pastor Chibuzo Nwosu and purported that l have jettison my well thought decision to represent the good and hardworking of Obingwa/Ugwunagbo/Osisioma Federal Constituency in 2027 , now a substitute for Obingwa West (Uhie) State Constituency Candidate .

“This false-based- publication orchestrated by one MR HENRY NNAJI NNAMDI and his cohorts,is a very expensive joke taken too far. It is absolutely aimed at misleading the unsuspecting Members of NDC and general public at large.

“The fabricated information is a lie from the pit of hell. The inference is drawn from the fact that NDC headquaters did not authorize any state office to announce results of the primaries and has not yet published any official list as at today.

“I wonder where and how the writer gathered the lies he is disseminating to mislead the party faithful and the general public.

“On the basis of these realities on ground , let every one be aware that every bit of information MR HENRY NNAJI NNAMDI has released in this regard, is fictitious, baseless, and an intent to malign my person, integrity and to jeopardize my 2027 House of Reps Project.

“It is essential to state that the untoward act of MR HENRY NNAJI NNAMDI and his cohorts is a very clear case of excesses beyond proportion .

“The party faithful are enjoined to discountenance this mischievous act and to further note that it is not of any effect regarding our great party’s position in person as the lead Hopeful to fly the party’s flag high for Obingwa/Ugwunagbo/Osisioma Federal Constituency come 2027.

“This rebuttal piece is important to keep the record straight.

“Again, i wish to state that further action by the author of the said piece under discourse to continue peddling of this falsehood of his,will be put to legal test by me to save my integrity and confidence the thousands of my constituents repose in me.

“To be forewarned is to be forearmed”.
