2027: Ex-Minister, Henry Ikoh laud President Tinubu’s call for peace

Hon. Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, Former Minister of State for Science and Technology and Abia State Coordinator, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his timely call for peace, unity, and responsible political conduct ahead of the 2027 elections.

Chief Ikoh applauded Mr. President’s emphasis that political competition must be driven by ideas, policies, competence, and service, rather than ethnic or religious sentiments, hatred, or violence.

He made the commendation in a statement issued on Wednesday by his media Aide, Hon Smart Ogbonna.
The ex-minister urged all political leaders, candidates, and supporters across Abia State and Nigeria to embrace this message and conduct their campaigns with civility, tolerance, and patriotism.
“We thank Mr. President for this statesmanlike intervention. Nigeria’s unity and peaceful democracy must remain greater than our political differences.”
