Membership Registration: Abia ADC distributes sensitive materials across electoral wards in Umuahia North LGA

The membership mobilization committee set up by the Abia state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Friday, began distribution of registration and mobilization materials across  wards in umuahia north local government area of the state.

The exercise which marked another significant step by the ADC in strengthening grassroots participation and coordination, saw the registration materials handed to various wards representatives by Umuahia North LG MMR Committee chairman, Hon Nwanneakolam George, flanked by notable party leaders who witnessed the event.

Speaking during the distribution exercise held in Umuahia, the Abia state capital, Hon Nwanneakolam George emphasized the importance of effective mobilization and proper registration at the ward level, noting that the success of the initiative depends largely on the dedication and commitment of ward representatives.

The MMR Committee chairman urged them to ensure that the materials are properly utilized to reach every grassroots member and supporter across the local government area.

On their part, the ward representatives expressed readiness to deliver the assignment diligently and assured the leadership of the ADC that they would work tirelessly to ensure that the objectives of the Membership mobilization and registration exercise are fully achieved in their respective wards.

Also party stakeholders who witnessed the event, commended the MMR Committee for the transparent and organized manner in which the materials were distributed, describing the distribution exercise as a demonstration of commitment to grassroots engagement and effective coordination.

The exercise further underscores the collective determination of leaders and stakeholders in umuahia north local government area to deepen participation, strengthen structures, and ensure that every ward remains active and fully involved in the ongoing mobilization efforts.
