New Year: Senator Akobundu harps on unity to ensure greater developments in Nigerians

The representative of the Abia central senatorial district at the national assembly, Senator Austin Akobundu has tasked Nigerian citizens on unity towards actualizing a better future for the country.

Senator Akobundu called on the people of Abia central senatorial district to unite and renew their commitment for the greater socio-economic and infrastructural development of the zone.

He made the call in his goodwill message, congratulating his constituents on the new year celebrations on Thursday.

The federal lawmaker assured his constituents that he would continue to ensure effective representation of Abia central zone at the red chamber of the Nigerian Senate for the progress of the district.

As we entered 2026, Senator Austin Akobundu congratulated the people of Abia central senatorial zone on the new year celebration and confided them that the year would be better and will foster more development of critical infrastructures to enhance the general welfares of the populaces.

The former National organizing secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), charged Abia central constituents not to lose faith despite the myriads of challenges impeding Nigeria’s efforts and desire to attain economic greatness.

He expressed confidence that this year would gender transformation in all critical sectors of the nation’s economy, reassuring his unwavering commitment in providing basic dividends of democracy to the people of Abia central zone.

While tasking his constituents on fervent prayers for the nation and her leaders as admonished by the holy scriptures, Senator Akobundu prayed for peace and prosperity for everyone in the new year.
